Overall the sling is great. The material is light weight and there is no strap lining the side of your weapon like the Mamba Combat sling. Now, for my particular long gun, the fore stock adapter was a bit too large to secure firmly, nothing that a short strip of 550 cord and a strip of 100mph tape couldn't take care of though. I do like this sling for it can be a two or three point sing based on your needs: two point- stalking forests or wood lines or patrolling; three point- climbing deer stands or traversing steep uneven terrain. I personally do not like bungee type slings and this ones hard points can easily be secured by a strip of 100mph tape. The one I purchased was OD Green but there is also Black and Coyote Brown. I preferred the green for my location but the other color options are there. If I were still in the Infantry, I would use this sling for my assigned weapon. I am retired now and prefer it to the standard "shoulder sling" for my hunting rifle, there are just too may optional ways to use it compared to a standard sling. This is a quality product that I would use in combat or hunting and I will buy again for other rifles.
